Local.Seasonal.

Foraged.

We source our organic produce, pastured meats & medicinal herbs direct from local farmers, fisherfolk, ranchers & foragers, with a focus on supporting Indigenous peoples first. Our primary cooking oils are ghee, lard, tallow, avocado oil and organic olive oil for lower heat/dressings. We aim to be zero waste in our event offerings.

We call our cooking style “Earth to Table” as a way to remember that not all of our foods come from a “farm” and a way to recognize that being in reciprocal kinship with the land and waters is not only a vital component to our connection with food, but also an extension of our human relations. When you support us you are also directly supporting the local food economy and community members livelihoods. Thank you for your help in strengthening our local food system!

Meet The Chef.

Hi! My name is Gabriella. I am a Culinary Herbalist, Holistic Nutritionist & Abortion Doula residing on Multonomah, Chinook, Kalapooya lands just North of so called Portland, OR on Wapato Island. My Ancestors are the Chorotega, Nicarao People of Nicaragua and also Poland. I graduated from The Wellspring School for Healing Arts in 2018 where I studied nutrition with both a Western and Eastern Medicine lens. My passion for cooking blossomed at a young age alongside my mom in the kitchen. I view food as a way to express creativity, connect with my ancestors, earth, and plant and animal kin. My culinary practice is rooted in animism and I view each kitchen tool, vessel and ingredient as alive and in alchemical collaboration of co creation with the elements. My passion lies in helping others explore their own food ways, stories and connection to land through eating and cooking. I am honored to serve my community in this way. Thank you for being here.
